Meet the Pakistan youngest recognized scientist Muhammad Shaheer Niazi. He lives in Lahore city, Pakistan. He works on “Electric Honeycomb” publish in the royal society of open science at the age of 16, Remember that Newton’s first paper in particular society published when he was 17. His discoveries can help engineers in biomedical and printing. He also has an honor of participating in the International Young Physicist tournament held in Russia in 2016 to represent Pakistan along which his team. This was his mother dream that his son represent Pakistan in that tournament. He wants to bring another noble prize for Pakistan in physics.
Relate Newton’s Quote
“If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulder of giants”
His discovery was based on two electrodes, one is pointed and the other is flat. When oil is placed between the electrode and the high voltage is applied the ions move towards the oil as it is no conducting so excess voltage can cause penetration in the oil, Due to instability. To be in equilibrium the oil formed the hexagonal shape which is the most stable shape, said by Niazi. He manages to take the photographs of the process in which the honeycomb structure like shape is visible.
His work can help the scientist and engineer in the field of biomedical and printing, using this technique an oil can be manipulated without touch.

“My biggest source of inspiration and motivation is my mother” said Niazi. Due to her I am able to participate in the competition and finish my research paper. He also desires to bring Noble Prize to Pakistan in physics.
During his talk at Punjab University in 2017. The young physicist addressed the students not to rely on the government. Age doesn’t matter in achieving great things. Observe everything, try new things, and be multidimensional. Today is the era of technology to learn the different things online. He concluded that where ever we go, whatever we do we are still Pakistani and represent Pakistan all over the world.
